Ronald Hoekman
Ronald joined TCG in 1998 and is currently the company’s managing partner. With over 15 years’ experience in the banking industry in managerial positions, Ronald’s current focus is on operational management.
Ronald is known for his highly successful – albeit unconventional – approach to operation management strategy. After a career at ABN AMRO as chief operations officer, where he participated in the process of establishing new branches and implemented core banking systems in numerous countries. Ronald chose to apply his in-depth knowledge to a hands-on consulting career with TCG. Team building, motivation and creating a challenging yet interesting and fun work environment are Ronald’s trademarks.
Ronald has directed projects in a wide variety of countries, from Azerbaijan to the Netherlands.
Due to his flexibility, agility and operational expertise, Ronald is known for getting “tough and undoable projects” back on track. Delivering results is second nature to Ronald and TCG.
Ronald’s professional achievements with TCG have included software selection project for the World Bank or designing and implementing Straight Through processing solutions for cash management. In Romania Ronald expanded one of the bank’s retail network so successfully that they are now ranked number four and earned them the title of “Bank of the Year” in Romania. He has also had great success with a Dutch bank that was previously unsuccessful in upgrading their IT and overall operational environment. Ronald supplied the financial institution with the necessary plans to enhance their internal controls, processes and level of service and personally helped them achieve their targets. Ronald is fluent in Dutch, English, Danish and German and has a basic knowledge of Czech.
